Art: Still Untitled

Does the choice of background imagery affect
the aquarium ecosystem? Most people choose
coral or seaweed. But I had to pick something
out of Pink Floyd's The Wall. Oops!

Art: Untitled for now

This is a big boy. I don't like it yet - it's too weak.
Just wait 'til I get medieval on its a**.

Or maybe I'll listen to Jason and add something
from the real world. No, not a peacock. Maybe a dog.
A couple piranhas, maybe?
I have until Thursday to decide.

Art: Three quickies from class

I began my first class at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago yesterday. No masterpieces here, but they're kind of fun at least. All are acrylic on 11" x 14" Yupo.


Campfire Cave - Just getting to know the Yupo...
Yes, the fire's a little too Thanksgiving turkey
for my taste, too.




Canary Car - Two complementary colors and
an analogous color. A simple-minded
environmental message.




Splashing Shell - Again, two complementary colors and
an analogous color. No message, just a nautilus shell
trying to imitate the Pretty Little Meteor.
